Winston is a 2 yr. old Shih Tzu Yorkshire Terrier Mix, or a "Shorkie" who weighs 12 lbs.  He came into rescue when his family could no longer care for him.  Winnie was very much loved and adored, and it shows in his amazing temperament.  This handsome boy is very well adjusted, calm and quiet, loves everyone, and enjoys playing with toys or relaxing close to his people.  His foster mom describes him as very smart, alert and a great leash walker.  When kept on a consistant schedule, his house training skills are wonderful.  Winnie the Shorkie is fostering in Florida, and all ready for his home.

Nina is a warm and loving 1 year old female Chihuahua. She is doing very well with her house training when on a schedule and will use puppy pads when necessary. She loves the big bed, but is also comfortable in her dog bed with her foster siblings. She is a sweetie who loves to snuggle with her person. Because of her delicate size , Nina will do best in an adult home. This Chihuahua puppy girl weighs almost 5 lbs. and is fostering in the Northeast.

Bisque is an 8 year old gold and white Shih Tzu girl. She is a sweet little lovebug.  Bisque is coming along very nicely with her training.  She will let you know when she wants to go potty outside by running to the door.  She is very quiet and lady-like sitting and laying nicely in which ever spot she claims as hers.  She is learning all about how to walk politely on a lead.  Bisque is ready and willing to find her furever home.

 Tank is a gold and silver 15 month old Yorkshire Terrier puppy boy who weighs 13 1/2 lbs.  He's a bundle of joy and energy who loves to run, jump and play!  This puppy needs a stay at home person who can fine tune his house manners and potty training skills.  He would do best  with an experienced doggie parent who can focus on giving him structure, love and one on one training.  This boy would benefit from another small dog who can play hard with him. Tank the very active Yorkie puppy is fostering in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Ox is a 15 month old Yorkshire Terrier puppy boy who weighs 14 lbs.  This puppy needs a stay at home person who can fine tune his house manners, social skills and potty training lessons.  He would do best with an experienced doggie parent who can focus on giving him structure, love and one on one training.  Ox the Yorkie puppy is fostering in the Northeast.

Elsie is an adorable 4 yr. old Maltese Mix girl who weighs 10 lbs.  She is getting more comfortable living in her foster home, and is still quite shy.  Elsie came into rescue from a breeder, and is learning to trust.  She will need humans who have lots of love and patience.  This pretty Maltese Mix girl enjoys being held and sleeping in the big bed.  Her new family will be rewarded with a wonderful playful lady!  She would do best in a quiet adult home with a small dog pal to learn from.  Elsie is working on house training, and fostering in the Northeast.

Wiggles and Cody are adorable Shih Tzus, mother and son, who are available to be adopted together or individually.  Wiggles is an adult and Cody is about 2 - 3 yrs. old and both weigh about 10 lbs.  They came into rescue from a breeder, and are shy but doing well while becoming more relaxed.  They have delightful temperaments, and happily prance around.  Both are doing well with house training when kept on a strict schedule.  These babies love to curl up and snuggle next to their people all night long.  Little Wiggles is blind in her left eye, but this does not change how wonderful she is.  They would do best in a home with each other, or another small pup to learn from.  These babies would like a mostly stay at home or work at home person in a low key home. Wiggles and Cody the Shih Tzus are fostering in Florida.

Lillie and Maxx are a bonded pair of 6 and 5 year old, "indoor only" cats. Maxx is a sweet, passive, lovable, 16lb neutered Tabby, who may be mixed with Maine Coon. His mom was abandoned while pregnant, and Maxx has never been outside, except for visits to the vet.  Lillie is a sweet, talkative, sometimes demanding, 10 lb black and white Tuxedo. Although she isn't Maxx's biological mom, she's always taken care of him like she was, even trying to nurse him when he was a kitten,  although she was already spayed. Lillie was rescued at 9 months, and like Maxx, she's never been outside, except for vet visits, although she seems a little more curious than Max, when the front door is opened. Both enjoy sunning themselves in the screened porch. They are both micro-chipped, disease free, healthy, happy, laid back, good with kids, tolerate dogs (although they're more sociable when there aren't any around), sweet, friendly, perfect little babies. They enjoy sleeping in the big bed, or with one of the children.   They are very sociable cats who enjoy being a part of the family, and just being with their people.   The decision to rehome Lillie and Maxx was difficult and heartbreaking, but the young daughter of the household has developed serious allergies, and there is no choice but to let them go.  These special cats need a home that will keep them together and indoors ALWAYS, and love them forever.  They are in Florida and can travel to their forever home.

Anna is a 3 - 4 yr. old little Shih Tzu girl who weighs 14 lbs.  This breeding kennel survivor is a sweet and timid lady who is shy around people and more comfortable with her furry siblings.  She loves to lay on the sofa, sleep in the big bed and play with stuffed animals.  Anna rides nicely in the car and is getting better with leash walking.  This Shih Tzu girl will need a mostly stay-at-home person who has the time and patience to continue her house training.  She would do best with another small dog or two in the home to learn from.  Anna the Tzu lady is fostering in the Northeast.

Princess is a beautiful, quiet Yorkshire Terrier who weighs about 15 lbs.  She is very watchful of her surroundings and likes to be near her people.  Princess loves to sit on her pillow and look at the world, and is very easy going.  This shy girl would do best in a quiet home with a fenced in yard. This pretty girl would love a home where she can live up to her name and be the Princess she is.  This Yorkie is fostering in the Northeast.

Benji is a 2 yr .old Brussels Griffon who had a difficult start in life, and things are looking up for him each day.  He is a sweet baby who is learning about love and care.  Benji is still timid and will come if you sit down and gently call him. He can also be coaxed into the big bed! Benji has become more confident and  comfortable with people and is blossoming nicely in his foster home. The adorable little boy seems to love other dogs and really enjoys being in their company. He is learning to play with the other dogs and toys too. Benji would do best in a quiet adult home with a mostly stay-at-home person who can continue working on his housetraining and social skills.  He would do best with a furry sibling or two to pal around with.  Benji the sweet Brussels Griffon is fostering in North Carolina.

Oliver is a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier who weighs 7 pounds.  He loves humans, and getting special attention.  He also loves to nap in a variety of beds, and his preferred napping position is on his back with legs in the air!  Oliver loves playing with his two Yorkie foster brothers, and going outside to run in the yard.  He is great on car rides, and is getting used to the leash and harness.  We are working on house training, but he is very attentive and listens to commands, so all should go very well. Oliver loves to meet new people and wags his tail for anyone. This pup would do best in a quiet adult home with a fenced yard. Oliver the adorable Yorkie boy is being loved and fostered in New England.

Sally is a gorgeous, fawn colored 1-2 year old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie cross) who weighs 8-9 lbs.. Since coming into foster care, she has learned how to be a happy dog. She loves playing with her canine companions, or just playing alone with her squeaky toys. She is still timid in new situations, and is easily startled by small children. Sally does not like leash walking, so she will need a fenced yard. She will use indoor piddle pads in an emergency, but otherwise is housetrained when kept on a schedule. She needs a quiet home with another furbaby, and work at home, or stay at home, patient human, to continue her socialization and housetraining.  This sweet, loving little Morkie girl will continue to blossom in a forever home. Sally is being fostered in the northeast. 

Bandit is a sweet, loving, playful boy who will snuggle and enjoy quiet evenings on a warm lap.  He's about 3 - 4 yrs. old and weighs 12 lbs.  Bandit enjoys his chew treats, and sunbathing in the yard.  This pup gets along with female dogs, and would do best as the only male in his home.  He is doing well with house training, and enjoys all the love and attention he can get from his people.  Bandit rides well in a vehicle, and walks well on a leash.  Don't miss out on this sweet, loving boy who will truly enhance your quality of life!  Bandit the Chihuahua / Dachshund Mix is fostering in the Northeast.

Fluffy is a 7 yr. old female Maltese who weighs 8 lbs.  She is a very quiet, little girl who loves to follow her person around and just stay near.  She loves to sleep on the big bed and lay in your lap at night.  Fluffy is looking forward to years of lounging around in the sun and just taking life easy.  This adorable girl would do well in a quiet, slow paced home.  She gets along well with dogs, cats and older gentle children. This Maltese is on a soft food diet, and doing well with house training, and is being fostered in the northeast.

Buddy is a red and white Shih Tzu boy who is about 8 years old and weighs 15 lbs. He enjoys sleeping in the sun outside on warm sunny days, or inside where the sun shines on the rug. In the evening, he enjoys being beside a person.  This sweet boy is basically blind, although he can see about 2-3 inches from his nose. Buddy is a smart pup who has learned the layout of his foster home and gets around just fine. He is on daily eye drops and supplements for dermatitis, and doing well.  Buddy is generally quiet, and will sleep next to another furry friend.  He is doing very well with housetraining when taken out on a regular schedule. Buddy the adorable Shih Tzu is fostering in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Remi is a 1 year old, petite 14 pound Eskie-Brittany mix with silky white fur and apricot colored freckles. He enjoys routine but is eager for new adventures.  He is loyal and loving to those he is famiilar with and while Remi can be territorial, he is not aggressive in any way.  He is equally happy snuggling at home beside you as he is romping in the snow.  Remi likes to cuddle and shows his affection by giving sweet puppy hugs!... Cody is a smart and lovable 8 month old Pekingese puppy boy.  He enjoys the company of small dogs, cats and gentle children.  He's very good during bath time, and likes being brushed.  Cody  will sit on a warm lap, and likes spending time close to his people.  This adorable Peke is working nicely on housetraining, and will do best with a stay-at-home person who can keep him on a regular schedule.  Cody the Pekingese puppy is fostering in Florida.

Paulie is a 2 1/2 yr. old male long-haired Chihuahua who weighs 8 lbs. He gets along well with the small dogs in his foster home, and loves to run and play with them.  He is shy and timid when he meets new people, and warms up nicely to enjoy being petted and cuddled.  He is working on housetraining and doing well when kept on a regular schedule....
