Angel - Female Shih Tzu
This is Angel, a 7 year old, 14lb Shih Tzu girl whose life somehow went wrong. She originally belonged to a family with children, but was allowed to run the neighborhood, and was finally given to rescue. She was sweet and loving in her first foster home, and was soon adopted. Angel came back to us when her new "grandpa" was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease. We believe that Angel may have been accidentally hurt, or frightened, and her personality completely changed. She is now very dominant with other dogs, and with her people. Angel likes to go for walks and loves to ride in the car. She has 'dry eye' and gets daily eye drops; and a touch of arthritis, for which she gets glucosamine daily. This beautiful little girl needs a very experienced, patient home. Her ideal home would be as an only dog in an all female, all adult home. She is fostering in CT.
